Entreq Max Supreme Ground Post (Corepoint Box or Ground Box Upgrade)
Max Supreme
Max Supreme offers the listener the most extreme performance from Entreq's Max Posts range. Built around the Tungsten foundation shared across the range, Max Supreme adds Platinum, Palladium and Molybdenum to produce a configuration they believe brings as much to a Corepoint equipped cable or an Entreq ground box as any passive post they have ever made helping reveal everything your system is capable of delivering.
Four materials, one configuration
Max Supreme is the result of bringing together the materials Entreq have found most effective in passive Max post applications. Tungsten provides the foundation, contributing the weight and dimensional depth that runs through every post in the range. Platinum brings refinement and clarity. Palladium brings body and substance. Molybdenum, a transition metal with high magnetic permeability, contributes the precise stability that holds the contribution of the other three materials in balance. The configuration is the product of years of testing and refinement, and Max Supreme is its expression.
Where the Max range goes beyond
Each Max post is a step in a deliberate progression. Max T and Max S provide the foundational entry into the range. Max Ti is the first refinement above them. Max Pa and Max Pl mark the upper tier, each with its own distinct character. Max Supreme is where the range goes much further.
For a system already configured to make the most of what Corepoint and ERS deliver, Max Supreme represents the fullest contribution a Max post can make.
Characteristics
Every Max post brings its own character, and each one is an upgrade on the post before — which places the Max Supreme at the very pinnicle performance wise. The name was chosen for good reason. The Max Supreme offers just that, supreme performance.
As is always the case with any of Entreq's products the Max Supreme offers a very musical (Supreme) presentation.
The Max post architecture
Like every Entreq Max post, Max Supreme contains a specific configuration of materials housed in a wooden body, designed to influence the electromagnetic behaviour at the reference point of a Corepoint unit, ground box or Tuss kit. The wooden body is chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality, allowing the active materials inside the post to do their work without interference from the housing.
Fitting Max Supreme
The threaded post on every Corepoint unit and Entreq ground box accepts the standard wooden cap supplied, or any Entreq Max post in its place. Max Supreme fits in the same way as every other post in the range, attaching to the threaded post and holding the ERS wire or grounding cable in position. No other change to the system is required.
Hand built in Sweden
Max Supreme is hand built at Entreq's facility in Sweden, using a wooden body and a specific configuration of materials including Tungsten, Platinum, Palladium and Molybdenum. The composition has been developed and refined through extensive testing on our reference system, with each material’s contribution to the post evaluated and adjusted until the result delivered what Entreq considered the fullest possible Max post performance.
Compatible with Corepoint, ground boxes and Tuss Kit
Max Supreme was developed alongside the Corepoint architecture supplied with their ERS cables, and is equally suitable for use with their ground boxes and Tuss Kit. In all applications, Max Supreme simply screws onto the threaded post of the host product.
