Entreq Max Mo Molybdenum Ground Post Upgrade (Corepoint or Ground Box)
Max Mo Molybdenum
Max Mo Molybdenum takes the Tungsten foundation that runs through the Max range and adds Molybdenum as its signature material. A refractory transition metal prized for its stability, high conductivity and exceptional strength at temperature, Molybdenum contributes a specific character to the post: a firmness of grip and cleanness of line that builds on the depth and weight Tungsten provides. The two materials work in combination to produce a post with a clear identity within the range.
A step further in the Max range
Max Mo Molybdenum continues the progression for systems already exploring what Corepoint and ERS make possible. Where Max Ti introduces a more controlled, precise presentation, Max Mo Molybdenum carries that refinement further, holding tonal balance and tightening delivery. The progression is incremental but the difference is audible from the first listen.
Characteristics
Every post in the Max family carries its own character, and the Max Mo’s is perhaps best understood alongside the Max T. The two are tonally very close, with similar energy — but the Max Mo Molybdenum brings more control, cleaner edges and greater detail to that shared balance. It’s the Max T’s character, presented with more precision and finese.
The Max post architecture
Like every Entreq Max post, Max Mo Molybdenum contains a specific configuration of materials housed in a wooden body, designed to influence the electromagnetic behaviour at the reference point of a Corepoint unit. The wooden body is chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality, allowing the active materials inside the post to do their work without interference from the housing.
Compatible with Corepoint, Ground Boxes and Tuss Kit
Max Mo Molybdenum was developed alongside the Corepoint architecture supplied with their ERS cables, and is equally suitable for use with Entreq's ground boxes and Tuss Kit. In all applications, Max Mo Molybdenum simply screws onto the threaded post of the host product.
Hand built in Sweden
Max Mo Molybdenum is hand built at the Entreq facility in Sweden, using a wooden body and a specific configuration of materials including Tungsten and Molybdenum. The composition has been developed and refined through extensive testing on their reference system.
