Silver Tellus Tungsten

Featuring an improved mineral mix including tungsten and titanium, the Silver Tellus Tungsten is a versatile ground box suitable for use in many audio systems. It includes 4 binding posts in a two-cell construction. This means you can attach digital sources to one cell and analogue sources to the other. The Silver Tellus Tungsten can also be used for negative speaker grounding.

Silver Tellus Tungsten Description

The original Silver Tellus was one of Entreq's best selling ground boxes. Thousands of users worldwide use it, and it can be said that Silver Tellus is something of a legend. The longest and most read thread on What’s Best Forum is about Silver Tellus. Now, after more than a decade, they have introduced a completely redesigned version of this legend.

Entreq have updated the mineral mix to match the one used in their Olympus Tungsten boxes. They have modified the chassis so that Silver Tellus Tungsten now features two separate chambers. This means you can separate analogue and digital signals, using two connections for analogue devices and two for digital ones. 

You can also use the Silver Tellus Tungsten to ground the negative terminals of the amplifier’s speaker outputs. Entreq have retained the format but improved the chassis against vibrations and now deliver custom made aluminium spikes (not pictured, but included).

Grounding Priniple

Every active component in a hi-fi system generates and accumulates electrical noise. With nowhere to go, this noise settles within your equipment, masking low level detail and subtly flattening the music.

Silver Tellus Tungsten is the upgraded version of Entreq's most popular grounding box the Silver Tellus featuring their Tungsten Inside technology. This unit gives that noise a path away from your system. Connected to a single source or amplifier, it draws accumulated electrical pollution out of the component and into its mineral mix filled cells, where it is absorbed and dissipated rather than left to build up. The result is a lower noise floor and a clearer, more natural presentation. 

More space around instruments, more texture in voices, and a greater sense of ease across the whole performance.

Entreq's research into grounding materials led them to this specific mineral mix for the Silver Tellus Tungsten, and their listening consistently confirms it offers even greater performance than the original Silver Tellus ground box. The gains are of the same character, simply more of them: a quieter background, and more of the recording surfacing through it.

Hand-built in Sweden

Silver Tellus Tungsten is hand built in Sweden, using a wooden body and a specific configuration of materials including Tungsten. The composition has been developed and refined through extensive testing by Entreq.

Upgrading with Max posts.

All of the Max posts offer the ability to upgrade and elevate the performance of the Silver Tellus Tungsten by simply replacing the wooden lock barrel with any of the Max posts.
