Port 6 is auto-negotiated, 100BASE-TX (100 Mbps) capable for optimum audio performance, and is constructed to allow for even more noise control. This port is perfect for streamers or servers/DACs. Lastly, Port 7 is compatible with 1000BASE-T (IEEE 802.3ab) and 1000BASE-LX/SX [802.3z-1998 (CL38)] SFP Transceiver/Modules, allowing it to be used as either an aftermarket RJ-45 or optical port, as needed.

The new Nordost QNET7 is equipped with nine independent, ultra-low-noise power supplies, which minimise cross-contamination and ensure clean, interference-free operation. This intelligent design reduces jitter and noise, resulting in a dramatic improvement in sonic clarity, precise imaging, and musical fidelity.
