The ISOL-8 SubStation F5 sits at the centre of the SubStation F Series

The ISOL-8 SubStation F Series is the distillation of 27 years of extensive research into electrical power filtration and distribution.

The F Series is designed around a simple principle: give every component the type of power it needs, while preventing one component from compromising another.

Dedicated filtered outlets are optimised for source components, while high-current outlets provide power amplifiers with the instantaneous current they demand, without compromising dynamics.

Premium components include ISOL-8 custom-wound chokes, the finest polypropylene capacitors and silver-plated copper PTFE-insulated wiring. A CNC-machined 10mm aluminium front panel completes an enclosure built for a lifetime of reliable service.

Transmodal filtering is at the core of the ISOL-8 SubStation F5, reducing the electrical noise that household appliances, routers, LED lighting and switching power supplies inject onto a shared mains supply. With less of that noise reaching sensitive circuits, a system can deliver a quieter background, finer detail and more stable imaging. Over the ISOL-8 SubStation F3, the F5 adds a seventh outlet and rhodium plated pure copper connectors, and the internal conductors are pure copper throughout. Integrated surge protection guards connected equipment against voltage spikes on the supply.

Available in silver or black, and hand-built in Worcestershire, England, the ISOL-8 F Series provides a powerful, sophisticated and dynamically transparent foundation for high-performance audio and AV systems. The result is clean, controlled power that provides the foundation to allow your system to perform at its full potential all of the time. For an additional cost, a version of the Axis DC Blocking circuit, found in the ISOL-8 Axis 10 & Axis 20, can be built into a new F series mains conditioner. The DC blocking will help any component that is susceptible to DC offset within their power supplies.

The mains inlet can be specified as IEC C14 (10A), IEC C20 (16A) or Neutrik Powercon, with the C20 inlet fitted as standard.

Engineered Without Compromise

The F Series uses carefully selected components throughout, including ISOL-8 custom-wound chokes, premium polypropylene capacitors and silver-plated copper wiring with PTFE insulation. Very carefully engineered layouts within the enclosure further enhance the overall performance.

Each unit is hand-built in Worcestershire, England, and housed in a substantial enclosure featuring a CNC-engineered 10mm aluminium front panel.
