Dual mono ESS Sabre DAC architecture

Verto D4S uses a dual ESS Sabre 9038 chipset, configured for high dynamic range and ultra low noise performance. The analogue output stage is entirely discrete, with no operational amplifiers in the signal path.

Pure digital signal path through galvanic isolation

Galvanic isolation on USB, AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical inputs helps block noise and ground interference, preserving a clean and stable digital signal path.

Independently regulated linear power supplies.

Power is supplied by a linear power supply, with separate regulation for the digital and analogue sections. This minimizes interference and ensures stable operation.

Custom designed "Optimal Transient" digital filter

This filter enables true Non-Oversampling Mode operation by bypassing internal oversampling, eliminating pre and post ringing. This approach prioritizes time domain accuracy and musical timing over frequency domain perfection.

Versatile remote control, supporting all settings

The remote control allows full control over the device, including adjusting digital filters, switching inputs, changing display themes, and accessing other key functions with ease.

The screen is easy to read even from a distance, contributing to a smooth user experience. It shows all key information, including input, sampling frequency, selected digital filter, and other settings, giving the user an immediate overview of the device’s status.
