Introducing Corepoint

A Corepoint unit is supplied with every Delphius Core signal and power cables and comes in two configurations – Corepoint Signal and Corepoint Power. A Corepoint Signal unit is supplied with analogue and digital cables and two Corepoint Signal units are supplied with the speaker cables. 

A Corepoint Power unit, tuned for high current applications, is supplied with the power cables.

Each Corepoint unit connects to the ERS wire on its Delphius Core cable via spade connector and acts as a stable reference point for signal ground – the zero against which the signal is measured – between the source and destination components the cable connects to. Corepoint contains the specific configuration of materials that stabilises the reference point. No less important, though, is the physical geometry of the ERS wire and its construction alongside the conductors themselves. Together, Corepoint, the ERS wire and the conductors hold the signal coherent across the length of the cable – fast, stable, and faithful to its source.

Delphius Core ERS Analogue XLR Cable Description

The Delphius Core ERS Analogue Signal Cable is hand made in Sweden and built around Entreq's new Energy Reference System (ERS) and Corepoint technology. Designed to carry analogue signal between your components with absolute coherence, every Delphius Analogue Signal Cable is supplied with a Corepoint Signal unit and is available with RCA or XLR terminations.

Every detail intact

The Delphius Core ERS Analogue XLR Signal Cable is the first product in Entreq’s new cable architecture, designed around how a signal truly behaves. Analogue signal is, by its nature, fragile. A continuous waveform whose every detail can be shaped or compromised by the electromagnetic environment around the cable carrying it. Conventional cables can only do so much about this. Delphius takes a different approach.

At its core is the Energy Reference System (ERS) – a separately shielded reference wire that works in concert with the Corepoint Signal unit supplied with every cable. Where a conventional drain wire carries induced noise away, ERS interacts with the electromagnetic field around the cable, with the Corepoint providing the stable reference point that allows it to do so. The result is analogue signal carried between your components cleanly, coherently, and with the full integrity of the original waveform preserved.

Hand built in Sweden

The Delphius Core ERS Analogue XLR Signal Cable is constructed entirely by hand at the Entreq facility in Sweden. It uses copper and silver conductors, a silver ERS wire and hook, cotton dielectric, and connectors customised to their exact specifications. The Corepoint Signal unit connects to the ERS wire via spade connector.

Delphius Core ERS Analogue XLR Signal is supplied with a Corepoint Signal unit and is available with either RCA or XLR terminations, both featuring custom connectors built to Entreq's specification. Take your sound further with Max posts

Every Corepoint unit can be taken further with the addition of an Entreq Max Post (sold separately). The Max range – Max T, Max S, Max Ti, Max Pa, Max Pl and the range topping Max Supreme – allows the performance of the cable to be extended further, incrementally, as your system and needs change.
