Max Pl Platinum

Max Pl Platinum is one of the most refined posts in Entreq’s Max range. Designed for use with the Corepoint box(s) supplied with every ERS cable, Max Pl Platinum adds Platinum to the Tungsten base shared across the Max range, bringing a substantial gain in resolution, stability and the overall presence of the music to any Corepoint equipped cable.

Of course Max Pl Platinum can be used with any Entreq ground box or Tuss kits.

Platinum’s particular contribution

Few materials have the singular qualities of Platinum, and few are as deliberately deployed in audio. Max Pl Platinum pairs Platinum with the Tungsten base that runs through the Max range, producing one of the most refined posts Entreq make, designed for use with the Corepoint units supplied with every ERS cables.

A substantial step up in the Max range

Max Pl Platinum is part of the upper tier of the Max range, sitting alongside Max Pa Palladium as one of the two Platinum-or-Palladium posts that mark a significant further gain in performance. Where Max T, Max S and Max Ti each lift the performance of the system audibly, Max Pl brings a step change in resolution, stability and the presence of the music making it a clear and considered investment for systems ready to take advantage of what it offers.

The Max post architecture

Like every Entreq Max post, Max Pl Platinum contains a specific configuration of materials housed in a wooden body, designed to influence the electromagnetic behaviour at the reference point of a Corepoint unit. The wooden body is chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality, allowing the active materials inside the post to do their work without interference from the housing.

Compatible with Corepoint, Ground Boxes and Tuss Kit

Max Pl Platinum was developed alongside the Corepoint architecture supplied with Entreq's ERS cables, and is equally suitable for use with their ground boxes and Tuss Kit. In all applications, Max Pl screws simply screws onto the threaded post of the host product (Corepoint box, Ground Box or Tuss Kit).

Hand built in Sweden

Max Pl Platinum is hand built at Entreq's facility in Sweden, using a wooden body and a specific configuration of materials including Tungsten and Platinum. Given the rarity of Platinum Entreq have be careful as to how the composition has been developed and refined through extensive testing to make the most of every contribution it brings in a responsible manner.
