This shelf is specifically designed to provide a stable, wall-mounted platform for your hi-fi equipment, especially turntables. It's the perfect solution if your listening room floor suffers from "bounce" or deflection when your turntable is placed on a traditional rack, which can cause the stylus to skip and interrupt your listening experience. By mounting your turntable on the wall, you completely bypass this issue and get clear, skip-free playback.

Crafted to complement the Apollo Podium and Storm ranges, the Atlas WM1 features a 20mm gap between the shelf and the wall, providing ample space for cables to run neatly behind the unit. Two additional cut-outs in the shelf offer extra depth and allow for separate routing of power and signal cables, helping to reduce interference and improve sound quality.

Need Adjustment & More Isolation? Add the Apollo Isoplinth 1 Module

For those who want to take their turntable's performance to the next level, the Apollo Isoplinth 1 Isolation Shelf Module is available and sold separately. This module includes four BZP 40mm long adjustable spikes and HD-L spike shoes with sorbothane dampening pads. Not only does this module offer additional sonic isolation for any supported hifi equipment, but it also provides a precise way to level your turntable, ensuring perfect balance and tracking.

Important Installation Notes

The Atlas WM1 shelf module itself is non-adjustable once installed. You must ensure if you are planning to use this with a turntable, your turntable has adjustable feet to level it accurately on the shelf. If your turntable does not have this feature, Atacama strongly recommend purchasing the optional Isoplinth 1 Shelf Module to guarantee a perfectly level setup.

Professional installation is required. 

The wall bolts included with the Apollo Atlas WM1 are suitable for solid walls, but different wall types will require different, specific fittings. It is the user's responsibility to ensure the shelf is securely and correctly mounted to support the weight of their equipment. The weight capacity that the shelf can support will depend on your wall type and the quality of the installation. In most cases, 20kg should be considered the maximum weight placed on the module.

Oak is a natural material, so colour and grain finish will vary between modules.
