Instead of letting three feet do the job, Entreq Protectus uses the entire surface under the device to cause a greater effect.

Entreq Protectus is comprised of layers of cross-laminated timber with cavities made in a strategic pattern, filled with mixed metal spheres of various materials and sizes. These metal spheres effectively convert vibration energies into heat. Since all metals are connected, galvanic currents are generated, forming a magnetic field that affects the electromagnetic fields within the devices.

Used as a platform to place components on top of the Entreq Protectus works as a stable vibration-damping base and a grounding point for high-frequency currents/power grid magnetism in the device’s chassis. By using a mix of different metals to create a magnetic field that influences the device’s magnetic field, it is able to push high-frequency noise back.

The Entreq Protectus comes with a dedicated ground cable which has a hook at one end to connect to the Protectus itself and a special connector to connect to the chassis or grounding post of the component placed on the unit.

NOTE: Protectus is designed for chassis grounding only. 

Do NOT connect Protectus to signal ground via any of the signal connectors. For signal grounding, Entreq recommends using an Entreq Ground Box from the Tellus or Olympus ranges along with an appropriate Eartha Ground Cable.

Level 1 is considered Entreq’s entry level performance for this product.

As the level increases, the attributes of the product change.

A lower level may be the most suitable for the equipment you have.
