Gold Note's all-in-one solution leverages over twenty years of applied research to offer the market a device capable of achieving sound that can stand up to any comparison. The IS-1000 LINE mk II combines a powerful class A/B integrated amplifier, a high end DAC and a high resolution streamer in a single source.

The class A/B amplifier with 125 watts 8 ohms @ 1 kHz per channel guarantees pure sound, vivid dynamics and the ability to reproduce every minute detail. The IS-1000 LINE mk II also offers a wide range of digital and analogue inputs for total control, while also providing the freedom to connect multiple devices. All you need is the IS-1000 LINE mk II and a pair of speakers to fully enjoy ultra-high definition sound, right at home.

The Audiophile All-In-One Integrated

The IS-1000 LINE mk II  is plug-and-play and fully compatible with multi-room systems. Designed to stream music via Roon, Airplay, Tidal, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify, vTuner, and Deezer, the IS-1000 LINE mk II can be controlled from the display of a smartphone or tablet using the proprietary GN Control app , available free for iOS and Android.

But for those who want, it's also possible to select digital music from a local archive on a NAS or USB flash drive. 

ADJUSTABLE DAMPING FACTOR (DF)

The IS-1000 LINE mk II also has a useful Damping Factor adjustment which is a useful feature that allows better matching to a wide variety of loudspeakers, without changing timbre, providing negative feedback or altering the sound. The circuitry acts on the power delivery to the bass drivers applying more or less energy to fine-tune the performance.

Gold Note suggest LOW DF for high sensitivity loudspeakers or small monitors, such as our A3 EVO bookshelf speakers, particularly in small rooms where the amplifier is usually playing at a lower volume.

Gold Note suggest HIGH DF for mid-sensitivity loudspeakers, and for all speakers that require more energy for the bass drivers to perform at their best.

DAC

The IS-1000 LINE mk II uses the Burr Brown PCM1796 chip set offering a very musical performance which Burr Brown are well known for.

ROON READY

Roon Ready devices have Roon streaming technology built-in and are certified by Roon Labs to deliver the highest level of quality and performance in high resolution streaming.

TIDAL CONNECT

With Tidal Connect, you can manage streaming from the IS-1000 LINE mk II directly from the Tidal app (available for iOS and Android).
