The extraordinary phono stage

Gold note PH-10 is an ultra-versatile phono preamplifier with unique features, including EQ curve, load and gain adjustment: a fully analogue design crafted with the best components to recreate the musical event in the most natural way possible.

To control the PH-10 Gold Note has developed the intuitive Single Knob Control (SKC) which, in combination with the colour display, allows to quickly adjust any function without interrupting the audio playback. The Gold Note PH-10 allows selecting the most appropriate equalization curve for each record: RIAA, DECCA LONDON or AMERICAN COLUMBIA, through the menu present on the display. Thanks to Gold Note’s proprietary technology, inspired by the Neumann Cutting Lathe, each curve can be further enhanced with the “enhanced” function.

Nine different loading options [10Ω, 22Ω, 47Ω, 100Ω, 220Ω, 470Ω, 1000Ω, 22KΩ, 47KΩ] and four different gain options selectable [0dB, ± 3dB, +6dB] allow you to accurately adjust the preamplifier and get the best sound experience with any type of MM and MC cartridge. Through the two separate RCA inputs, it is possible to connect two different arms to the Gold Note PH-10, each with independently adjustable settings that can be saved in memory even when the unit is off, ensuring extreme flexibility and intuitiveness.

To maximize the performance of the PH-10 Gold Note has developed Gold Note PSU-10, an external super inductive power supply that allows the phono stage to fully express its potential, restoring with extreme realism, three-dimensionality and precision the sound of vinyl.

To maximise the performance of the PH-10, Gold Note also developed the Gold Note PSU-10 a dedicated external super inductive power supply that allows the PH-10 to achieve its fullest potential, reaching an even higher degree of musical realism, better dynamics and greater three-dimensionality sound.

EXTERNAL INDUCTIVE POWER SUPPLY FOR PH-10 PHONO STAGE

The special external power supplies have been designed to enhance your Gold Note system and are part of the modular design of the Gold Note creations.

All the special external power supplies have been developed with a Super Inductive Dual Choke hybrid design. They feature an inductive filter on the analogue stage and a dual choke design powered by a double inductor driving both the negative and positive high-current stages.

The Gold Note proprietary Dual Choke design perfectly filters the signal voltages to eliminate any interference and electrical noise from the AC power system.

With Gold Note PSU 10 power supply it helps provide a shield from the AC power grid. By achieving complete insulation, an ideal working environment is created for the electronics to perform at their best.

The large and ultra-clean power generated enhances noise reduction, greater dynamic, better resolution and finer audio details guaranteeing the best realism and musicality.

Dedicated to the Gold Note PH-10 phono stage, the Gold Note PSU-10 features a 4 power supply stages with 4 ultra-low noise voltage regulators. The device is powered by 4 transformers (3 dedicated to the power supply and 1 for the inductive dual choke special filter).
