The PLiXiR Elite Dual Output version is designed to power two devices with the SAME Voltage, and the sum of output current (amps) for the two devices does not exceed the limit of the PLiXiR power supply. 

This is an elegant and cost effective way to power two equipment with one PLiXiR power supply.   The performance is vastly superior to the popular Y-splitter cable method used by other manufacturers.  Both outputs on the power supply shares the same source and have the same performance. 

The PLiXiR Elite BDC balanced DC power supplies are designed to reduce all the noise types present in a DC power supply. It has been known for some time that traditional DC power supply circuit cannot eliminate them all.  There are many types of noise present the needs to be eliminated including ground loop current and diode rectification/pollution noise.

PLiXiR have taken a ground-up approach beginning with a balanced AC power design, along with a two-stage voltage regulation consisting of an open-loop first-stage pre-regulator and a close-loop feedback second stage.

The Elite balanced AC power circuit effectively removes ground loop noise and reduces the diode noise. 

The first stage pre-regulation filters the bulk of the noise, specifically the high-frequency noise, and the heat from the second stage voltage regulator. The two stage regulation is designed as a "gate" to prevent the downstream noise from crossing back to the AC power hands.

What "does all this really mean" you may ask? It`s simple really you have less noise and you will hear more music. Greater detail, decay and far more finese.

Extruded, 5mm-thick aluminium casing body. Thick metal top and bottom plates provide an ultra-rigid casing that guards against the sound-degrading effects of mechanical vibrations.

DC Cables

Supplied with a 2 x 1 metre long high current PLiXiR high purity copper DC power cables with either 2.1mm or 2.5mm plugs (select from dropbox when ordering). Various sizes/types of plugs are available on special order.
