The Digital Sharing range combines the quality of MÉTRONOME sound reproduction with current listening, streaming and network playback practices.
The Digital Sharing range of products are DSC digital preamplifier, DSC mini DAC and DSS 2 network player/streamercovering all aspects of digital replay.
DSS 2 - Network Player/Streamer
With the specific design of the DS range, DSS 2 will allow you to play the music stored on your local network, through to any Apple or Android application compatible with DLNA or UPnP protocols.
Streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, Spotify are catered. The DSS 2 is also Roon ready so most uses are catered for (even Airplay).
DSS 2 supports all PCM formats up to 384kHz and native DSD256 (depending on connection). The DSS 2 is the perfect match for the DSC mini from Metronome and offers stunning performance when used together. When using the i2S connection between the DSS 2 and DSC mini reply of native DSD is possible up to DSD256.
A USB-A (host) is available for use of external USB hard drives
The chassis of DSS 2 is made of steel and machined aluminium for the front panel, available in black and silver finishes.
