Description

Isolation matters because loudspeakers generate more vibrational energy than any other component in a system. Cabinet resonance, driver motion, and the considerable forces involved in moving air all feed mechanical energy into the floor, which then travels through your rack and back into your electronics. The Ultra 5 S breaks this feedback loop, isolating the speaker from its environment while evacuating internally generated vibration.

Each Ultra 5 S contains five technology pockets arranged around its circumference, with each pocket housing Stillpoints’ proprietary ceramic bearing ball stack in a precision machined stainless steel housing. A set of four Ultra 5 S units places 20 technology pockets beneath each loudspeaker, creating comprehensive isolation from multiple angles.

Configuration

The Ultra 5 S features a durable black powder coated finish and a beveled bottom edge, making it easier to slide heavy speakers across carpet for fine positional adjustments, essential once you hear how isolation affects tonal balance.

For levelling on uneven floors, pair with the Ultra Base. For installations on thick carpet where anchoring is preferred, the optional Ultra 5 Bullet Spike threads directly into the base.

Stillpoints offers a comprehensive range of adapters to attach the Ultra 5 S directly to loudspeaker footprints. Custom adapters are available for speakers not covered by the standard range.
